Free to Be Potluck

Our themed potluck Free to Be” was such a success! This was a special celebration to culminate our learning in our Social Studies unit which was all about the diverse communities within Canada. It also complimented our Family Life unit where each student researched and recognized their unique cultural backgrounds.

A big thank you to all the families who helped prepare the delicious treats and eats for our class. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the interesting and unique dishes some of our students prepared. We each made a small flag to  represent our cultures and waved them with pride!
