Happy Monday!

Today we visited our school library for the first time this year and met our new librarian, Mrs. Allen. She showed us how the library is organized and invited us to choose one book (for now) that we can sign out. We need to remember to return the book by next week’s visit. Our class loves to read so we savour every moment in our school library and enjoy the different spaces we can sit in.

Mrs. Sullivan will narrow down the names for each of the animals and then we will vote as a class on our favourites. Stay tuned for the names of our owl, raccoonlion, and pirate.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, our class participates in gym class outside as part of our Cross Country unit in Phys-Ed. Our first official “Meet” is on the 21st. Wish us luck!  We’ve been blessed with nice, sunny weather every time we go out, but it can get hot so we ensure we bring our water bottles out with us. Mrs. Sullivan reminds us to think of a goal we can aim to achieve which is usually how many laps we think we can complete. Congratulations to our recent recipients of a medal: Joseph and Justin! They were recognized for outstanding effort and attitude. Keep up the great work everybody!
