Final steps of art

Last Wednesday we were finishing the last steps of our print making art with artist Jen Hamilton. For the last few weeks we have been carving rubber blocks, adding ink over the rubber and placing it on paper, making that colour show on the paper. Next,we carved out the section were we wanted that colour of ink and started the process over again. This process has taken many weeks and is now coming to a finish.

We are all very proud of our work and are getting very good feedback and reviews about our creations. The lady in charge of the program named Catherine, says that our pieces are turning out very good and we are working very independently. She also said that out of all the kids she has seen do this process we did the best. I am very proud of my work, and if you were to see them you would be BLOWN away.

Would you like to try print making? Why or why not?
