We Try Like Terry
Today we started our day with a discussion around the question, “Is Terry Fox a Hero?”
What makes a hero?
a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.
We think Terry is someone who meets this definition. He was and still is a part of the fabric of Canada’s identity. He had such a vision to bring awareness, one kilometer at a time, to fellow Canadians, trying to raise money to help those with cancer. While we know that Terry was not able to complete his Marathon of Hope, decades later, we continue to honour him, remember him, and carry on his passion for finding a cure.
We miss you Terry and today we run with you in our hearts and also run for those who cancer has touched.

These are very lovely pictures. Megan enjoyed the Terry Fox run. She came back exhausted but with happy memories of the day. We share Terry’s passion to find cures for cancer. Megan is bringing a Terry Fox poster to class on Monday. Regards from Megan’s family.
