Top 10 Canadian Inventions That Changed Our World

      Have you ever wondered what life would be like without some of the inventions that now we use every day? Well here are the top 5 inventions that were  invented by Canadians that changed our world!

1. Peanut Butter- Lunches were never the same after 1884 when a man named Marcellus Gilmore Edson made a spread out of peanuts that we now commonly call peanut butter.

2. The telephone- We all know that alexander graham bell invented the telephone but, did you know he did it while he was in Canada too. Born in Scotland but immigrated to Canada and then later invented it branford ontario on July 24th 1878.

3. The snow blower- “Who invented the snow blower?” You may ask. No other than the Canadians our selfs. well how else would we get to work in the snowy months of November to march? Arthur Sicard produced the first snow blower in 1925.

4. Basketball- Most people know us Canadians for inventing hockey and lacrosse but did you know we invented basketball too? In 1891, James Naismith a Canadian gym teacher created a game now commonly known as basketball.

5. insulin- probably one of the most important inventions of all time which saved millions of peoples lives with diabetes dr. Fredrick Banting created artificial insulin.
