History…Herstory….whatever your story, we all have one to tell. Our family history is an important part of who we are and our class recently created a totem pole to represent the most important parts of our family history.

We spent time interviewing our family members, researching our history. We then had to decide what 4-5 symbols might be used to represent what we learned about our history. Finally, it came to building the totem pole and then presenting it to the class.

They turned out beautifully and we learned a lot about each other, too!
