Cross Country
I don’t think anyone can disagree that the weather we had today was wonderful and warm for the cross country race. We laced up our shoes, took some gulps of water, and waited to be summoned to the starting line. Eleven year olds, ten year olds, then it was us! We squealed with excitement when we were called and off we went to the starting line. Mr. Babington gave us instructions at the starting line and when the cap gun went off, so were we.
Take a look at the girls at the start of their race.
Mrs. Sullivan reminded us that it doesn’t matter what number we placed, what matters most is that we put forth our best effort, nothing more, nothing less. The certificates go home on Friday.
Way to go! You should be proud of your efforts today.
What was something you really liked about today’s race?
Hi Mrs Sullivan!
I just saw that Ella also commented :). Yes, we do still think about you! I just wanted to say; I was at cross country looking for you all day on Wednesday (Sydney and Ella were too) but we found out that you guys were going on the thursday! Either way, I’m glad to see that your class did awesome!
Your Friend,
Stephenie
P.S: I love the notebook! Thanks! <3
So delightful to hear from you, Stephenie. Yes, we were on the Thursday for Cross Country so unfortunately, our paths did not cross 🙁 It looked like we both had amazing weather, so that was nice.
I’m glad you like the notebook–use it however you like.
I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with family.
Mrs. Sullivan 🙂
Hi mrs. S!
it’s me Ella, and I just wanted to see how it’s going at your new school. It looks like you have some pretty fantastic athletes this year. Anyway, enjoy the rest of the school year!
Hi Miss Ella,
It’s nice to hear from you! It’s been a great year so far…it’s hard to believe it’s already Thanksgiving, though. Time is flying by. I hope you are off to a great start at school and continuing to be your wonderful self.
Love,
Mrs. Sullivan
