Congratulations Athletes!

On Friday, our school participated in the Terry Fox Run in our own backyard. It was a gorgeous afternoon and everyone had smiles, stickers, and tattoos plastered to their bodies as they ran with Terry in mind. Cancer touches everyone–either directly or indirectly and whether we were running for Terry, to find a cure, or for someone else we know, the students did a great job raising over $600.00 for cancer research! Bravo!

Today, our school visited Springbank Park to participate in a 1.8 km run, getting some practice under our belts for the big run at R.M.C.

It was a warm morning with cloudy skies, but cool enough that we weren’t overheating or feeling overly exhausted.

Everyone should feel proud of their efforts today! I was very proud of students for their persistence and positive attitudes! Way to go!
