Today my mom suprised me by taking me to see the nutcracker ballet in Toronto.  The entirer performence was in ballet, so that means that it was just people dancing and doing the nutcracker with out saying any words.  Instead they would do actions to show who they were and what they were doing.  The nutcracker was so amazing to watch and the dancers were dancing amazing.  My mom got great seats because we could see everything that was taken place on the stage.  Something that I liked about the nutcracker was that everyone who was on stage remembered what they were doing and when they where to do it.  I also liked it how the people who wer dancing were al sorts of ages.  Karen Kain is a famose dancer and she is the artistic director that has lead The National Ballet of Canada with great success for 8 years.  She was the artistic director of the nutcracker ballet.  My mom and I loved watching the nutcracker.  I would go again for sure.

Did you know that commas are the most commonly used and misused punctuation mark?

Today we learned that it’s important to use commas because if there is no comma the sentence could sound funny or weird, or in the example below, change the meaning of a sentence.

My friend send me this picture and I thought that it was kind of funny.

4. I like to hang with my friends.

Max is a golden doodle. He is white with a gold strip down his back. He is so cute with that brown nose of his. It looks like a meatball. I was just playing with him outside. Have you ever seen a dog smile? If you have, great, but if you have not, come to my house after a long day of school and you will see a dog smile.

Just today after our school show rehearsal, Max came running at me with a big smile on his face. Man is he cute. Another thing that he does when we are fooling around is that he will bark and try is hardest to protect me. Also when he is scared when it is storming, he will hop into my bed and sleep with me.

In health we have been learning how to read nutrition labels.   We have been using empty cereal boxes to see how much sugar is in the cereal by reading the nutrition label.  Our class found out that alot of popular cereal uses alot of sugar.  Our class predicts that cereal companies use alot of sugar becuase they want the cereal to taste good becuase they want alot of people to buy the cereal so they can make money.  We were shocked when what we thought was very healthy turned out to have the most the most sugar!
